One of the managers here at work asked for help, and while trying to solve his problem we started talking about racing. He's in the office next to mine and I've never been in it and never knew the guy was so into racing. This is what I saw first:

Kinja'd!!!

Then this:

Kinja'd!!!

The Guy knows his racing. The trophies are from Kart racing. He said years ago they used to race Karts every two weeks in a place near here, but the place closed. He showed me the spreadsheets with timings and standings. So awesome.

We spent over half an hour discussing racing in general, and the different driving style with Karts in the rain, sun and indoors. Then, as good Brazilians talking about racing, the conversation ALWAYS ends with Senna.

Piquet must feel butthurt.

Both Piquet and Fittipaldi are geniuses as well, but Senna was a freaking legend. Also, he was much more recent.

I said that because when Senna was becoming a serious threat Piquet went all asshole on him and Mansell.

Ah, got it. I thought you were saying that because most people only celebrate Senna for Brazilian racing. Sorry.

Yeah... Piquet is kind of weird... you hear very little about him, even here. I've heard many people say that he wasn't a true winner because he was a horrible loser.

It's always cool to discover a new enthusiast. I'd love to know where he got Senna's car and helmet. They'd look great on my desk.

There's an official store: www.sennastore.com.br

Sometimes there are new things added or removed, it's a nice place to stay tuned if you're a Senna enthusiast.

Until recently they had a replica of Senna's signature " Banco Nacional " cap. I got one for my Secret Senna. Lucky bastard, I should've kept that if I knew they'd remove it from the store!

Nice!!!

Hermann can atest to this, here in Brazil, people who love racing divides in two groups:

Sennistas (who idolizes Senna) and Piquezistas (who think Piquet was better)

I used to have long discusions with a friend of mine who used to own a kart team (unfortunately he passed away about 8 yrs ago), and we came to a conclusion... Senna was a better driver, but Piquet was more complete, since he was a master in tuning up the car!

Yep.

Sorry about your friend, man. But yeah, Piquet knew how to make his own car. I wonder what's up with him now.

You can find that exact car on Ebay or numerous other Senna models. This one is a 1:43 Minichamps piece

Good, because the Kyosho's website is awful.

EDIT: Never mind, I get it.
